• Medal of Honor Boxes and EXP Coupons have a chance to drop from NESO Thieves. EXP Coupons only drop from NESO Thieves at level 140 or higher.

■ Event Details

• After completing the quest, you have a chance to obtain a Suspicious Signal Gun when defeating monsters near your level.

Suspicious Signal Gun

• Activate the item to summon a NESO Thief, which must be defeated within 100 seconds.

NESO Thief

• Defeating it grants you extra EXP and NESO.

• It may also drop:

  • Medal of Honor Boxes (below Lv. 140: only Medal of Honor Boxes drop)

  • EXP Coupons (Lv. 140 and above: both Medal of Honor Boxes and EXP Coupons can drop)

※ Medal of Honor Boxes can be used up to 30 times per character per day.

■ Event Notes

• Each character can use up to 120 Suspicious Signal Guns per day.

  • The daily usage limit will reset at 00:00 (UTC+0).

  • Suspicious Signal Guns and event rewards are provided as local items.

• You can check your daily usage count from the Event Notifier menu or within the Catch the NESO Thief! event UI.

• Suspicious Signal Guns can be registered to hotkeys for easy use.

• Suspicious Signal Guns cannot be used in the following situations:

  • When in fields without monsters near your level or in towns

  • When already using one or during the countdown before activation

  • When another player is already using one in the field or during countdown

  • When the daily usage limit has been exceeded

  • In Personalized Fields, you can still use the item regardless of other players’ usage.

  • Elite Bosses will not spawn while a Suspicious Signal Gun is activated. However, if an Elite Boss is already present in the field, you may still use it.

• If you leave the hunting area by changing maps or channels while the Suspicious Signal Gun is active, its effect will end.

• Defeating event monsters will not grant NESO if there is no remaining Rotation NESO in the current field layer.

※ Any actions that violate the Operation Policy may result in restrictions. Accounts restricted from using services within the MapleStory Universe ecosystem, including MapleStory N, may also be excluded from receiving rewards.

※ In case maintenance on MapleStory Universe services takes place on the day of the event conclusion, the event end time may be subject to change.

※ Event schedule, rewards, and other details are subject to change without prior notice. In such cases, additional announcements will be provided separately.

※ Reward items cannot be received after the event period ends.

※ Reward items can be stored in in-game inventory until their expiration period. Items not used within the expiration period will be deleted.

※ Rewards will be distributed only to the wallet used to participate in the event. Please note that the receiving wallet addresses cannot be changed.
