Credit Level System

1. What is Credit Level?

Credit Level is a system introduced to enhance the MapleStory Universe ecosystem.

The Credit Level system is designed to prevent abusive actors and ensure that verified Maplers can enjoy a safe service environment.

After connecting your wallet, you can check your current Credit Level by navigating to My Page > Credit Level.

※ Credit Levels are assigned based on the requirements you meet, and your final Credit Level is determined by the highest requirement you qualify for.

2. Credit Level System

1. Credit Level 0

  • Accounts will receive Credit Level 0 if they meet any of the following conditions after the Credit Level system is introduced on June 25, 2025:.

  1. Wallet accounts newly connected to MapleStory Universe after the Credit Level system is introduced,

  2. Wallet accounts connected before the Credit Level system is introduced but do not have a history of accessing MapleStory N,

  3. Wallet accounts with existing service restrictions at the time the Credit Level system goes live.

※ Accounts with Credit Level 0 are restricted from accessing MapleStory N.

※ If your Credit Level changes from 1 to 0 while playing MapleStory N, your access to the game will be suspended.

2. Credit Level 1

  • Accounts will receive Credit Level 1 by holding 10 NXPC in their wallet.

  • The NXPC balance must be held on the Henesys Chain, the mainnet for MapleStory Universe.

  • If the NXPC balance on the Henesys Chain drops below 10, the Credit Level will revert to Level 0.

※ Credit Level 1 accounts have access to all services within MapleStory Universe.

※ NXPC held on the Avalanche C-Chain does not contribute to Credit Level requirements. To reflect NXPC on your Credit Level, make sure to Warp In your NXPC to the Henesys Chain via Swap & Warp > Warp.

⚠️Credit Level 1 (Temporarily Active)

Accounts with a history of accessing MapleStory N prior to the June 25 update will receive Credit Level 1 (Temporarily Active).

※ This is a temporary measure. Additional details regarding Credit Level adjustments for existing Maplers will be provided in a separate announcement.

3. Credit Level 2

  • Accounts will automatically qualify for Credit Level 2 by satisfying at least one of the following verification requirements:

  1. ID Verification (KYC)

    1. Wallet accounts that complete ID Verification via My page > Verifiacion and obtain Verification Level 1.

  2. Card Verification

    1. Wallet accounts that successfully complete payment authentication using a VISA or MasterCard registered under the user's legal name.

※ Credit Level 2 accounts have access to all services within MapleStory Universe.

※ Card Verification requires a $0 authorization check. This check is strictly for authentication purposes and does not incur any charges.

3. Re-verification

We may request identity re-verification for wallet accounts suspected of having been verified through improper means or associated with abusive activity.

Accounts subject to re-verification will be temporarily restricted from all services until the process is successfully completed. Once identity is confirmed within the designated time frame, account access will be restored

Re-verification will take place in the steps below:

  • Users who receive a re-verification request must complete the process using either KYC or Card Verification.

  • KYC re-verification

    • When KYC is selected, the process will proceed based on your existing verification status:

      1. If you previously completed KYC, you will be asked to perform selfie verification, which will be matched against your verified ID.

      2. If you have not completed KYC before, you will go through the full KYC process, including submitting your ID and a selfie.

  • Card Verification re-verification

    • Re-verification using Card Verification requires completing authentication with a Visa or MasterCard (credit or debit) that supports payment authorization.

      1. Re-verification must be completed within 14 days from the moment a verification method is selected. Failure to complete the process within this period will result in continued account restriction.

      2. Users may attempt re-verification up to 3 times. If all attempts are exhausted, the account will remain restricted.
