1. Check Boss Information
You can open the Boss menu using the shortcut key [Default: F4] to check basic information about boss monsters.
Once you select a boss and its difficulty level, you can search for party members to fight with you. Alternatively, open the Maple Guide with the shortcut key [Default: F1] and click the Boss Content tab. Here, you can find recommended bosses by level range, as well as a list of reward items each boss drops.
Some bosses require specific quests to be completed or special items to be prepared before you can start certain boss content. Make sure to check the boss UI before you start.
2. Practice Mode
Some bosses offer Practice Mode, allowing you to learn their patterns in advance.
Please note that Practice Mode differs from normal boss content in terms of entry limits and rewards.

Available regardless of your Boss Clear Count in normal/Hard/Chaos modes
Still requires prerequisite quests for normal mode entry
Does not progress quests related to the boss content
No EXP or item rewards
Special buffs: certain skills and items have no duration or cooldown limits
3. Pure Boss Essence
Pure Boss Essence is a special item that drops from defeated bosses.
Each boss drops its own unique Essence. Please note that there are weekly limits on how many essences you can use, both per account and per character.
You can use a Pure Boss Essence to enter a Raffle corresponding to the boss you defeated. This gives you a chance to win rewards, such as Nodestones.
Once you hit the weekly usage limit, you will be unable to enter more Raffles until the weekly reset.
4. Checking Your Pure Boss Essence Status
Once you reach Level 50, click the notifier on the left side of your screen to find the βPure Boss Essence View usageβ option in your list of Available Quests.
This will allow you to check your Pure Boss Essence usage status at any time.
Alternatively, for a quick status check, you can hover your mouse over a Pure Boss Essence in your inventory. The tooltip will display your current usage count, weekly limits, and the next reset date.
5. How to Obtain Pure Boss Essence
Each boss drops a unique Essence. These are categorized as either Daily or Weekly Essences, depending on the boss's reset cycle.
All Pure Boss Essences expire. The expiration period depends on whether it is a Daily or Weekly Essence.
Daily Pure Boss Essence
Expires at 00:00:00 (UTC+0) the day after on the same day it is obtained.
Weekly Pure Boss Essence
Expires at 00:00:00 (UTC+0) on the upcoming Thursday.

When in a party, each member can earn their own Pure Boss Essence. However, to be eligible for the drop, you must contribute at least 5% of the boss's total damage.
6. Pure Boss Essence Rewards
To use a Pure Boss Essence, double-click it in your inventory. This consumes one of your weekly uses and enters you into the boss's Raffle.
Please note that all Pure Boss Essences, regardless of which boss they come from, count toward the same weekly usage limit. This limit is tracked for both your account and each character.

Using an Essence can grant the following rewards. Please note that some rewards cannot be obtained if you have already exceeded your weekly usage limit.

β» Earning Pure Boss Essence in a Party
When you earn an essence in a party, your Raffle chances are divided by the number of party members present when you entered the boss map. The Raffle is then rolled individually for each eligible member.
For example, if a reward has a 100% drop rate and your party had 5 members, each member has an independent 20% chance to receive that reward.
You can see how many party members your Raffle chance was divided by in the item's tooltip, which appears when you hover your mouse over it.
7. Raffle Dashboard Rewards
Boss rewards are displayed in the Reward Dashboard. Using a Pure Boss Essence after defeating a boss will register an entry for that boss's Raffle on the Raffle Dashboard.
You can then check your potential rewards in the Raffle Dashboard.
That's where the reward Raffle for each boss will be registered when you defeat them.
After using the Essence, be sure to check the registered reward list on the Raffle Dashboard!
When your clear Boss content, you may have a chance to participate in a Raffle to earn rewards.
If your entry is successful, you can check the available rewards and their quantities in the [Raffle Entry] tab of the Raffle Dashboard.
Once the raffle is completed after a certain period, you can confirm whether you have received a reward in the [Raffle Results] tab.
If your entry fails, it will be displayed as a failed attempt in the [Raffle Entry] tab, and you will not be able to receive any rewards.
