1. What is a Field Layer?

In MapleStory N, field rewards are distributed based on a specific system called layers.

Field Layers are divided according to the average monster level and can be checked through the World Map or Reward Dashboard. You can open the Reward Dashboard by clicking the star-shaped Reward menu at the bottom of the screen and selecting the Reward Dashboard tab.

TIP
Since rewards are limited and replenish periodically, your chances of receiving rewards are higher when you hunt in layers with more rewards accumulated.

2. Checking Layer Information via the World Map

When you select a specific field, you can view:

• The layer number it belongs to

• The reward information available in that layer

Each field on the World Map is color-coded, with each color representing a different layer.

3. Checking Layer Information via the Reward Dashboard

3.1. Opening the Reward Dashboard

You can access the Reward Dashboard via the star-shaped Reward menu at the bottom of the screen. In the Field tab, you will see a list of field categories and their corresponding layers by level.

• When selecting a layer, you can:

• View the fields included in that layer

• See reward details including:

  • Drop rate

  • Recharge interval

  • Remaining quantity

  • Recharge amount per cycle

3.2. Understanding the Reward Dashboard Buttons

On each layer’s Reward Dashboard, the following buttons are available:

• Guide: Opens the World Map and shows the location of the selected layer.

• Schedule: Displays the rotation reward schedule for the currently selected layer.

• Widget: Displays the reward information for the currently selected layer as a widget (only one widget can be active at a time). Once displayed, the widget remains visible on the game screen even if you close the Reward Dashboard.

4. Quickly Checking Layer Rewards

If you want to quickly check the reward information for the field layer your character is currently in, click the "REWARD" button on the minimap in the top-left corner of the screen.
