Boost System Update

• The Probability Accumulation System will be updated to the Boost System.

  • The Boost System (formerly the Probability Accumulation System) increases drop rates and raffle participation rates when the remaining reward amount exceeds the charge amount per reward distribution cycle.

  • Probability Increase Based on Excess Charge

    • The rate of increase relative to the excess charge has been changed from 20% to 100%.

  • Maximum Boost Cap Increase

    • The maximum possible boost has been raised from 2x (up to 100%) to 5x (up to 500%).

    • When the boosted rate exceeds 100%, the number of items or participation opportunities increases accordingly.

  • Examples

    • Field (Drop rate)

      • If the accumulation rate per cycle is 10, and the current charge is 30: - The base drop rate of 50% is boosted to 150%. - Up to 2 items can be obtained with the Boost System: 1 item is guaranteed, and 1 additional can be obtatined with a 50% chance.

    • Boss / Other Content (Raffle Participation Rate)

      • If the accumulation rate per cycle is 10, and the current charge is 30: - The base raffle rate of 50% is boosted to 150%. - Up to 2 entries can be registered with the Boost System: 1 item is guaranteed, and 1 additional can be obtatined with a 50% chance.

If multiple users participate and competition occurs, the raffle success rate is calculated independently per item.

For example, if two entries succeed but the winning odds are 50%, the player may receive 0 to 2 items, depending on the outcome of each draw.

Please note that certain items, such as event items and Florin, are not eligible for the Boost System.

• The display of Reward Dashboard / Raffle Dashboard has been updated.

  • Boosted items will be visually identified in the UI.

  • The display of tooltip information is refined for improved readability.

    • Displayed Drop Rate / Raffle Participation Rate / Winning Probability are now rounded for readability, but calculations still use precise internal value rates.

Base NESO Reward Adjustment

• The base NESO reward quantities have been adjusted as outlined below:

  • Field

    • The base NESO reward amount in field content has been increased by 300%.

      • Example ) Previous: 10 NESO → Updated: 30 NESO

  • Boss

    • The base NESO reward amount for bosses has been increased as well. Details vary per boss as follows:

Events

1. NESO X EXP Drops Event Season 2

• Due to the implementation of the Boost System and adjustments to the base NESO reward quantities, the NESO X EXP Drops Event will be updated as follows, and the event period will be accordingly extended as Season 2.

• Eligibility

  • Every Character of MapleStory N

• Event Period

  • May 29, 2025 After Maintenance Ends ~ June 18, 2025, 23:59 (UTC +0)

• How to Participate

  • Enjoy various contents where extra rewards have been added to the Reward Dashboard.

• Event Details

  • FIELD NESO EVENT!

    • During the event period, an additional 200% of the updated base NESO will drop in all field layers listed in the Reward Dashboard. (Additional NESO is granted with 100% quantity at 100% probability.)

    • Event NESO is not affected by the Boost System.

  • BOSS NESO EVENT!

    • During the event period, all NESO obtained from the following bosses will be additionally granted as outlined below.

    • The NESO drop rate for the additional rewards is 25%.

    • Event NESO is not affected by the Boost System.

2. Updated item features following NESO X EXP Drops Event Season 2

• The item features related to the NESO X EXP Drops Event Season 2 have been updated as follows:

  • Trade Deadline Extension

    • The deadline for Mystic EXP Coupon Box and Mystic Honor Coupon Box is extended from June 2, 2025, 23:59 (UTC +0) to June 21, 2025, 23:59 (UTC +0)

  • Usage Period Extension

    • The usage period for Mystic EXP Coupon and Mystic Honor Coupon is extended from June 6, 2025, 23:59 (UTC +0) to June 25, 2025, 23:59 (UTC +0)

3. Open Florin Event

• The Open Florin Event period is extended from May 28, 2025, 23:59 (UTC +0) to June 18, 2025, 23:59 (UTC+0)

4. Character Minting Event

• The Character Minting Event period is extended from June 4, 2025, 23:59 (UTC +0) to June 18, 2025, 23:59 (UTC+0)

System Improvements

• The number of parties that can enter Balrog (Boss) simultaneously per channel has been increased.

• Item expiration dates will be displayed at the Style Point Exchange Shop.

• The maximum number of Report submissions has been increased from 15 to 50.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where character minting intermittently fails.

• Fixed an issue where character link/unlink intermittently fails.

• Fixed an issue where raffle entries intermittently displayed in duplicates.

• Fixed an issue where raffle entries for Cygnus boss content intermittently fails.

• The quest "Start today's Cross World Party Quest!" has been disabled.

  • This quest was intended to grant Party Quest Points, which are not used in MapleStory N and is therefore now disabled.
