A mysterious adventure to uncover the Ancient Artifacts begins!

Defeat monsters to collect map fragments that reveal the location of the Hidden Ruins, and earn additional EXP and NESO along the way. Don’t miss your chance to obtain rare rewards such as the Ancient Guardian Chair SBT!

■ Eligibility

• Daily Mission: Minted characters

• Weekly Mission: Minted characters level 140 and above

■ How to Participate

Open the Event Notifier on the left side of the screen and accept the quest “[Ancient Artifact Hunt] Join the Artifact Hunt”.

■ Event Rewards

• When you open the box, you will receive one reward based on set probabilities from the five possible box tiers:

※ A Regular Medal of Honor provides 1,000 Honor EXP.

※ A Special Medal of Honor provides 10,000 Honor EXP.

• Weekly Mission Reward: Gift Box of the Royal Expedition Leader x5

  • Completing the weekly mission grants 5 Gift Boxes by default. With additional chances based on set probabilities, you can obtain up to 10 more for a maximum of 15 boxes.

  • Do not forget to open your boxes before they expire (7 days after receipt) to claim your rewards.

※ Daily missions can be completed once per character per day.

※ Weekly missions can be completed once per character per week.

■ Event Details

• Daily Mission: Artifact Collection

  • After accepting the quest, defeat monsters near your level to collect Unidentified Artifacts.

  • When you reach certain artifact counts, a [Mini Ancient Guardian] carrying NESO from the Hidden Ruins will appear in the field.

    • Defeat event monsters to earn additional EXP and NESO.

  • Collect 100 Unidentified Artifacts of any type to complete the daily mission and receive:

    • Gift Box of the Royal Expedition Leader

    • Hidden Ruins Map Fragment

• Weekly Mission: Hidden Ruins

  • Collect 4 Hidden Ruins Map Fragments through daily missions to complete the map and discover the location of the Hidden Ruins. Enter the Hidden Ruins through the entrance portal created in the field indicated by the map.

• If you haven’t completed the previous week’s map, you can progress from the earlier stage in order.

• Defeat the [Ancient Guardian] guarding the altar in the ruins to obtain the Gift Box of the Royal Expedition Leader.

■ Event Notes

• You can summon the Mini Ancient Guardian up to 120 times per day (resets daily at 00:00 UTC+0).

• Unidentified Artifacts do not drop from monsters in special fields.

• You may not obtain Unidentified Artifacts due to drop rate penalties such as Rune Curse.

• If another player is already defeating the Mini Ancient Guardian, it may not spawn for you.

  • In this case, collect artifacts in another map to immediately summon one.

• If you leave the hunting field by changing maps or channels while fighting an event monster, the effect will end.

• You will not receive NESO from event monsters if there is no remaining Rotation NESO in the current field layer.

• The Ancient Guardian Chair SBT will be distributed after the event ends. Further details will be announced separately.

※ Any actions that violate the Operation Policy may result in restrictions. Accounts restricted from using services within the MapleStory Universe ecosystem, including MapleStory N, may also be excluded from receiving rewards.

※ In case maintenance on MapleStory Universe services takes place on the day of the event conclusion, the event end time may be subject to change.

※ Event schedule, rewards, and other details are subject to change without prior notice. In such cases, additional announcements will be provided separately.

※ Reward items cannot be received after the event period ends.

※ Reward items can be stored in in-game inventory until their expiration period. Items not used within the expiration period will be deleted.

※ Rewards will be distributed only to the wallet used to participate in the event. Please note that the receiving wallet addresses cannot be changed.

※ MapleStory Universe cannot address issues arising from incorrectly connected wallets.
